The Lockit Timecode LED Display from Ambient Recording is the electronic display section of the Lockit Slate and also serves as a fully functional, compact, standalone display for documentary or desktop use. The display is housed in a machined, pearl-blasted, and anodized aluminum body enabling it to withstand rough production conditions. The unit requires four AA batteries to power it. It is equipped with light and motion sensors, allowing the brightness to be automatically adjusted to the local light situation, and the display flips when turned upside down. The LED Display has Ambient Clockit Network support, metadata, clap time transfer, and logging allowing it to be a fully functional, generator-buffered timecode transceiver with the flexibility of a wireless timecode system without the fear of dropouts.
